You will be the Cost Account Manager and Operations Support for the Lexington, KY area and must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Cost Account Manager and Operations Support embedded with a SOF GLSS Program Team, your duties will include:

  • Supporting production integration efforts and various business processes in a team-based environment.
  • The job requires knowledge and experience in several cross-functional areas, including Cost Account Management (CAM), production planning and control, total quality management, engineering (systems, manufacturing, equipment, and facilities), material management, and process reengineering.
  • Facilitating self-directed work teams
  • Offering training in core skill areas
  • Interacting with internal and external customers regarding the CAM function, budget, financial requirements, product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
  • To perform this role effectively, you should have experience in one or more areas of Aircraft Integration operations.

This position is in Lexington, KY

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years experience

Degree in Finance, Engineering, Program or Business Management

Fundamental understanding of Cost Account Management

Previous experience in a Cost Account Management (CAM) or similar role within Aircraft Hangar environment

Analytical, with the ability to understand and explain financial results and associated actions

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)

Experience working on a DoD contract

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint

Strong oral and written communication skills

Experience or related education in program management processes; specifically, developing performance work statements, customer relationship management, cost and schedule management, and root cause analysis.

Capable of working in a fast paced, demanding environment providing independent thinking, problem resolution and action

Capable of functioning within a multi-tasking environment, with ever-changing daily requirements

Ability to multi-task several projects in a fast paced environment

Sound financial background, with previous Cost Account Management (CAM) experience in an aircraft integration environment

Proven track record of working to milestones and tight timelines

Self-starter that is comfortable explaining situations and details to various levels of the overall team from Shop Supervisors to Sr. Management Team

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
