Bonuses:

  • $300 season-end bonus (must work full season until October 30th 2026)
  • Up to $500 performance bonus based on attendance, accuracy, and teamwork

About Us

Keene Garlic is a small family business that is looking for a member to join our team. We are seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist / Customer Support / Administrative Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for our organization. This role blends front desk responsibilities, administrative support, and customer service to help maintain a seamless and efficient office environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and able to confidently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

This is a temporary position starting immediately and ending on October 30, 2026, with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs. Pay depends of experience. 8-hour shift: Monday - Friday between 8am-4:30pm. Pay depends on experience up to $19-$23 per hour

Schedule

  • 8-hour shifts
  • Workdays: Monday through Friday
  • Must be available for the full season (until Oct 31st) to qualify for bonuses

Work Environment

  • Office setting with frequent interaction with customers, staff, and vendors
  • May require sitting for extended periods and occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs)

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support & Receptionist Duties

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide accurate information about products, services, pricing, and policies
  • Resolve customer issues, complaints, and concerns efficiently while maintaining a positive experience
  • Process orders, returns, exchanges, and refunds as needed
  • Track and update customer orders using order management systems
  • Document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in company systems
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate department
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and problem resolution
  • Maintain a strong understanding of company products, services, and procedures
  • Assist with billing questions and basic account inquiries
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, shipping, operations) to support customer needs
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and internal processes
  • Meet or exceed response time and customer satisfaction goals
  • Social Media support

Administrative Support

  • Provide general administrative support to management and staff
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and manage calendars
  • Prepare and format documents, reports, and correspondence
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems

Office Operation & Order Management

  • Process and track customer orders using shipping software
  • Use shipping software to prepare shipments, print labels, and track deliveries
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors on order fulfillment
  • Monitor inventory of office supplies and reorder as needed
  • Assist with additional operational or administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Some College preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer support role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Technical & Computer Skills

  • Strong overall computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for communication and collaboration
  • Experience with shipping software
  • Accurate data entry and basic reporting skills
