Human Resources (HR) Manager

HR Manager (Full-Time)Location: Local to New Hartford, CT Robert Half is partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and execute day-to-day human resources operations while partnering closely with leadership on strategic initiatives. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being deeply involved in the business while also helping shape and scale HR practices as the company continues to expand.Day to day:Oversee daily HR operations, including employee relations, benefits administration, and onboardingLead talent management efforts, including performance management, development, and retention strategiesEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsManage and optimize HRIS systemsDevelop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practicesServe as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR strategy, organizational planning, and workforce initiativesHandle employee relations matters with professionalism and sound judgmentPartner with management to support a positive and productive workplace cultureSupport recruiting efforts and workforce planning as neededQualifications6+ years of progressive HR experience, with exposure to all core HR functionsProven ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environmentExperience working in a union environment Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employee relations, and best practicesHands-on experience with HRIS systems and data managementExcellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skillsBachelor’s degree required (HR, Business, or related field preferred) Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $110,000 – $150,000, depending on experience, education, certifications, and industry backgroundFull-time positionOne of the most competitive benefits packages in the market!
