ABOUT THE TEAM
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company on a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities. By applying the technology and business model of today’s most innovative companies to defense, we are changing how military systems are designed, built, and sold—powered by Lattice OS, our AI-driven operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a real-time, 3D command-and-control center. Our Imaging business line designs and builds advanced electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) systems—cameras, sensors, and payloads—that power persistent surveillance, air defense, and precision targeting. Imaging has moved its flagship products into Low-Rate and Full-Rate Production (LRIP/FRP), building hundreds of units each year. This role partners with program, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to translate business activity into revenue, COGS, and margin on the P L.
ABOUT THE JOB
This role is at the Senior Financial Analyst level. Supporting the Imaging business line, you will own product and program financial management, income statement and balance sheet forecasting, and financial reporting across multiple products and programs. Partnering closely with program management, manufacturing, supply chain, and business line leadership, you will explain financial performance and variance analysis at the contract, product, and per-unit level to cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Experience tracing work orders, bills of material, and standard costs through manufacturing and ERP systems to understand how production flows onto the P L is a plus.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Own rolling monthly forecasts, working closely with key engineering stakeholders (Product, Program, and Engineering Leads)
Work with program management to develop and maintain ETC forecasts and EAC integrity
Analyze and monitor contract and product profit margins
Deliver monthly internal management reporting through presentations and written communications
Income statement and balance sheet forecasting by contract and business line
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis at multiple accounting levels
Build reports and automated dashboards in FP A and ERP tools (Oracle, Anaplan, Foundry)
Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams across the full work order lifecycle—from work definitions and bills of material through build associations, WIP, and finished goods—to ensure production activity is captured and costed accurately
Analyze production cost performance and variances—standard vs. actual cost, purchase price and material variances, labor and overhead, scrap and rework, and inventory adjustments—and trace anomalies to their root cause in work order and BOM data
Translate the build plan and Clear-to-Build / material availability position into revenue and COGS forecasts
Support monthly and quarterly production financial reviews and quarterly planning, including per-unit P L reporting by product
Ad hoc support and special projects
Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting tools, systems, and procedures
