Job Summary:

Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position available in Spokane, Washington. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care within a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and Short Term Acute Care facility. The incumbent will support multiple units, including pediatric and adolescent patients, with responsibilities that encompass floor care, emergency response, and rapid response procedures.

Job Details:

• Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington state or Compact Respiratory Therapist (RT) license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications, and 0 years of experience minimum.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a community hospital setting, in pediatric respiratory care, and previous travel experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between units
• Additional Information: The candidate should be comfortable setting up Aerosol masks and Trachs, managing inhaled medications, troubleshooting ventilator alarms, and providing high-level respiratory interventions for pediatric and adolescent populations. Orientation hours total 36.
