Elementary School Teacher

Courtyard School is pleased to accept applications for Elementary Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.

Courtyard School is a small non-profit, private school that has been a part of Midtown Sacramento for over 40 years. Courtyard has a philosophy of combining strong, standards-based academics with instructional creativity, a variety of instructional strategies, and many engaging learning experiences for our students. We have a strong focus on social and emotional development, meeting students where they are at, and providing a well-rounded education including specialty instruction in theater, Spanish, music, P.E., and gardening.

The teacher utilizes existing curriculum and also has the autonomy to create curriculum. They implement lessons, conduct formal and informal assessments, communicate with guardians, and work collaboratively with colleagues and administration.

We offer waived tuition for any dependents, in addition to medical and dental insurance, and a 403B matching program.

A clear background check is required. CPR/1st Aid certification is preferred. Applicants must have a multiple subject teaching credential and previous teaching experience.
