Description

Amazon Hub Delivery partners with thousands of independent local businesses (retailers, florists, dry cleaners) whose existing space, vehicles, and available workforce capacity enable them to deliver packages to customers in their neighborhoods. The channel operates across nine countries and is one of Amazon's fastest-growing last mile delivery programs.

As the Principal Program Leader for Hub Delivery, you will own strategy and initiatives that directly impact cost, quality, delivery partner experience, and network growth — as well as how Hub Delivery integrates with the broader Amazon delivery network.

Amazon's last mile organization builds world-class delivery infrastructure to get orders to customers where and when they need them — as quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively as possible. Hub Delivery complements this network by working directly with local independent businesses — called Hub Partners — to complete deliveries. With Amazon Hub Delivery, small and medium businesses earn additional revenue for their company with their existing team, time, and vehicles.

This role requires a high level of ownership over the end-to-end process, the ability to challenge existing mechanisms and build new ones, and the ability to align stakeholders to sustainable solutions across multiple organizations. You will have a high degree of influence over the program's vision and growth, scope multiple large ambiguous projects in parallel, drive the team to achieve milestones, and communicate status, risks, and process or product changes to senior management. Cross-team coordination, project management, and executive presentation skills are essential.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 7+ years of program or project management experience
  • 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality
