Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team in Kenner, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and property through vigilant monitoring, prompt response to incidents, and adherence to security protocols.

Patrol designated areas on foot or using company-provided vehicles to monitor for suspicious activities, safety hazards, or security breaches

Respond promptly and professionally to emergency situations following established procedures and protocols

Monitor surveillance systems and control access points to maintain facility security

Conduct regular security checks of buildings, grounds, and perimeter

Maintain detailed logs and prepare incident reports documenting all security-related activities

Manage and control the distribution of keys and access cards

Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary

Enforce company security policies and procedures

Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and concerns

Must be at least 21years of age

Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring lifting, reaching, kneeling, and bending

Strong observation and surveillance skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Proven decision-making and problem-solving capabilities

Proficiency in completing detailed security reports and documentation

Experience with security monitoring systems and emergency response protocols

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ability to obtain and maintain required security certifications

Basic computer skills for report writing and communication

Previous security experience in a corporate environment preferred

Must be available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
