Retail Sales Agent

Job Description:

The retail company is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Agent with a starting rate of $12.50 per hour

Position Overview:

Generating revenue through sales and offering superb guest service is the primary job function of the Retail Sales Associate at The Coca-Cola Store within World of Coca-Cola located in Downtown Atlanta.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Play a role in maintaining a clean and well-arranged sales space, creating a comfortable environment for shoppers.
• Acknowledge incoming customers, suggest purchasing alternatives, and showcase familiarity with the merchandise and brand.
• Contribute to bi-annual stocktaking procedures.
• Keep yourself up to date with the newest products, changes in pricing, and promotions.
• Maintain accurate management of financial transactions and purchases through a reliable POS system.
• Improve the overall shopping experience by providing product promotions and sale opportunities to customers.
• Use a conversational tone and employ a consultative approach to offer customers products that best meet their unique needs and preferences.
• Guide customers through the necessary steps to return or exchange items.
• Establish a pattern of dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Discharge any other duties as instructed.

Education/Experience:

• Earning a high school diploma or equivalent serves as evidence of one's academic and intellectual capabilities.
• No experience required.

Communication Skills:

• The aptitude to read, write and make sense of educational documents.
• Effective communication with colleagues, customers, and superiors is essential to achieving success in any business or industry.
• Mastering the art of operating a two-way radio while adhering to proper radio protocol.

Reasoning Ability:

• Competent in working independently with minimal monitoring.

Physical Demands:

• Continuous activity, speech, listening, outreach, and the act of standing.
• The potential to stand without sitting down for two hours straight.
• Support an object that is 10 pounds or heavier.
• The tasks might require you to squat, kneel, crouch, or climb ladders periodically.
• The aptitude to perceive items accurately and clearly within close proximity, differentiate between various colors, estimate distances precisely, and modify focus as needed are all components of visual capabilities.
