A private foundation in Washington, D.C. is seeking an eager and enthusiastic professional to provide high-end executive and personal support to its founding Principal with a white-glove touch. As the Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant, you will be responsible for managing calendars, travel, drafting correspondence, assisting with projects, and operating as a key gatekeeper for the principal. This Principal is bi-coastal, supporting intense initiatives across their programming and social justice groups and seeks an adaptable spirit, able to assist with light personal assistant duties. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Principal’s calendar, appointments, and travel logistics, including coordinating activities across time zones.
- Serve as a liaison with other staff and external contacts, screening incoming requests, addressing inquiries, assessing priority, and directing to the appropriate contact.
- Draft and review correspondence, documents, meeting notes, and other written materials with impeccable attention to tone, clarity, and professionalism. Ensure that all files are organized and easily accessible.
- Maintain organization of files, documents, and household/foundation information, providing a single point of coordination across locations.
- Track and manage items, schedules, and logistics in alignment with the Principal’s standards and expectations.
- Prepare and submit expense reports.
- Collaborate with household, corporate, and external contacts while maintaining a calm, professional presence and strong interpersonal relationships.
- Assist with projects, errands, and personal assistant tasks as needed, ensuring seamless execution of priorities.

- Blended professional foundation. You bring at least four years of EA/PA support experience working with principals or senior leaders. A bachelor's degree is preferred.

The salary listed reflects the anticipated compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, location, business considerations, and internal equity. Final offer amounts are determined at the employer’s discretion.
