Hospital Attendant / Evening Cleaning Assistant

Schedule:
Monday–Friday: 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM
About Us
We are a busy, compassionate animal hospital dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and clients. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Hospital Attendant to assist with end-of-day cleaning and facility maintenance.
Position Summary
The Hospital Attendant plays an important role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for our patients, clients, and veterinary team. This position focuses primarily on evening cleaning duties and ensuring the hospital is prepared for the next business day.
Responsibilities
Clean and disinfect exam rooms, treatment areas, and common spaces
Sweep and mop floors throughout the hospital
Empty trash and recycling receptacles
Clean and sanitize restrooms
Wipe down counters, doors, windows, and high-touch surfaces
Restock supplies as needed
Launder hospital linens and towels
Follow hospital safety and infection-control protocols
Perform other weekly and monthly housekeeping duties as assigned
Qualifications
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Comfortable working in an animal hospital environment around dogs and cats
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning tasks
Previous cleaning or custodial experience is preferred but not required
