Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to support the delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality financials for our clients.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation who is ready to take ownership of client work, manage the month-end close process, and contribute to a high-performing, client-focused team.

The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring financial data is clean, organized, and reliable, serving as the backbone for both internal review and client advisory.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Support & Communication

  • Support client relationships by responding to requests and maintaining clear communication
  • Assist in gathering and organizing financial data needed for reporting and analysis
  • Participate in client meetings alongside senior team members as needed

Accounting Execution & Close Process

  • Own key components of the month-end close process for assigned clients
  • Prepare and post journal entries (monthly, quarterly, annually)
  • Perform account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of all financial data

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Ensure financials are delivered accurately and on time
  • Maintain consistency and quality across all client deliverables

Operational Accounting

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including:
  • Recording transactions
  • Maintaining supporting documentation
  • Ensuring proper classification of income and expenses
  • Support payroll entries and related reconciliations
  • Assist with cleanup and organization of client books when needed

Process & System Efficiency

  • Utilize tools such as:
  • QuickBooks Online
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Follow standardized workflows and internal processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce errors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 5–7 years of accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and clients effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

  • Minimal errors and rework required
  • Strong support provided to Accounting Managers and client leads

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
