What You Will Do
- Perform machine setup and runs on surface grinders and mills.
- Read, interpret and process technical drawings, engineering and quality standards, and work instructions.
- Monitor tooling for wear and usage, changing and setting tools as needed.
- Monitor part specific dimensional tolerances while performing the operation and identify non-conforming part features.
- Maintain accurate documentation and system inputs (shop traveler, labor charging, production tracking software, inspection results, etc.).
- Identify and report process inefficiencies, machine issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Follow work priorities to accomplish production goals.
- Handle contact with coolants, cleaning fluids, and oils (petroleum based products) and chemical vapors from products during normal manufacturing.
- Obtain and maintain required Inspection Certification(s).
- Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.
3rd Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 pm – 07:00 am
What You Will Learn
- Precision surface grinding and other CNC equipment operation as required.
- Cross‑functional collaboration through various types of manufacturing and processes.
- Experience with inspection equipment.
Qualifications
- Must have: HS diploma or equivalent and minimum of two years experience.
- Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting decimals.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use multiple job‑specific applications (including email, internet).
- Experience with measurement equipment, e.g., gauges, calipers, etc.
- Experience with basic hand tools.
- Experience reading, interpreting, and following blueprints.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and grinders.
- Experience maintaining tight tolerances (< 0.0005").

External candidates eligible for $3,500 sign on bonus.
