Position Summary

The Medical Assistant/Scribe will work directly with providers to support clinical workflow, assist with patient care tasks, and accurately document encounters in real time. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a clinical environment, has excellent communication skills, and enjoys multitasking.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients
• Prepare exam rooms, maintain equipment, and ensure cleanliness
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures
• Perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection
• Administer medications or injections as directed
• Manage patient flow and support overall clinic efficiency
• Provide patient education as instructed by providers
• Document patient histories, physical exams, assessments, and treatment plans in the EHR
• Enter provider-directed orders for labs, imaging, medications, and referrals
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of provider documentation
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• MEDICAL ASSISTANT: 1 year (Preferred)
