Customer Support Representative

Job Summary:

Starbucks is seeking Customer Support Representative to prepare beverages, assist customers, and support daily store operations in a fast-paced coffee shop environment. Customer Support Representatives are responsible for taking customer orders, operating the register, preparing coffee and espresso drinks, making cold beverages and food items, maintaining a clean work area, restocking supplies, and providing friendly customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce coffee, espresso, and cold beverages following the prescribed recipes and quality criteria of the company.
  • Precisely record customer orders and manage payment processing utilizing the register for cash and credit transactions.
  • Ensure that customer care is amiable, expedient, and adapted to individual preferences.
  • Handle food items and ensure correct treatment in adherence to food safety standards.
  • Ensure that the work area, equipment, and customer spaces are maintained in a clean state.
  • Ensure cups, ingredients, and supplies are restocked as needed throughout the working hours.
  • Provide aid with drive-thru tasks where necessary.
  • Work in tandem with colleagues to guarantee timely and precise completion of orders.

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service or food service experience preferred but not required.
  • Skillfulness in performing well in a fast-paced work atmosphere and managing multiple tasks with precision.
  • Proficiency in both interpersonal communication and relationship-building.
  • Fundamental math knowledge essential for navigating transactions and financial dealings.
  • Availability needed for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
