Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Vascular IR position requiring 12+ months of interventional vascular/IR lab experience and active ARRT or RCIS/CCI certification.
Details
- Hospital or medical center setting in Iowa
- Vascular interventional radiology (IR) lab unit
- 5x8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
- On-call required every 3rd evening and every 3rd weekend
- Holiday rotation required
- Floating across campuses required as needed
- Epic EMR
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months of vascular interventional/IR lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting
- Minimum 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting
- Peripheral vascular experience required
- Experience scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring required
- Current or prior OR procedure support experience required
- Level I trauma experience preferred
- Active ARRT (R) or RCIS/CCI required; ARRT (CI or VI) highly preferred
- Iowa Radiology license highly preferred; candidates currently pursuing licensure will be considered (issuance timeline varies: 48 hours to 4 weeks if non-active)
- Active BLS (AHA or ARC) preferred
- Active certifications required at time of consideration
- Driver's license required for consideration
- One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years preferred
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcomed for this position
- Candidates who were employed by the facility within the 12 months prior to submission may not be eligible for consideration
- Travelers are expected to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's)
- RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday periods
