Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to nurture and educate four-year-old children in a dynamic early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
  • Create a positive classroom environment that encourages social interaction, behavior management, and emotional growth.
  • Facilitate engaging lessons that promote early intervention strategies, special education needs, and inclusive practices for diverse learners.
  • Manage classroom activities, transitions, and routines to ensure safety and smooth daily operations in accordance with childcare standards.
  • Assess children’s progress through observation and standardized testing when appropriate; document developmental milestones and communicate with parents or guardians regularly.
  • Incorporate classroom management techniques to foster respectful behavior and promote a nurturing atmosphere conducive to learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary activities, organize classroom resources, and enhance overall educational quality.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
  • Experience in curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with children, including those requiring special education or early intervention support.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Classroom management expertise to maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools for early learners.
  • Ability to plan lessons that incorporate hands-on activities, tutoring techniques, and child welfare considerations.
