Job Description:

Assisting the event operations team, the Banquet Server aids in the successful execution of catering orders and events. Duties comprise event setup, equipment and food transportation, guest service during events, and post-event cleanup.

Job Responsibilities:

• Event Coordination: Set up catering and event services in accordance with the requirements outlined by customers and banquet event directives.
• Delivery and transportation services for catering needs, encompassing food, drinks, and all essential supplies to the designated event spots.
• Event Space Organization: Arrange seating, tables, buffet lines, and additional event equipment as outlined in the banquet event itinerary.
• Refill food and beverages as required during the event.
• Preserve the cleanliness of food service spaces to ensure a hygienic and presentable setting for guests.
• Organize clearing up of food and beverage deliveries after service and break down event locations once the event is over.
• Guarantee that all event guests receive exceptional customer service throughout.
• Ensure the observance of safety policies and procedures to guarantee a secure environment.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in customer service or a catering environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Must be flexible with scheduling, with the availability to work evenings and weekends for events.
• Commitment to completing all mandatory training for food handling and alcohol service.
• Willingness to strictly follow professional dress codes and appearance standards.

Education:

• A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for long periods.
• Compliance with uniform policies and the consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
