Hay Loader/ Warehouse Worker/ Restocker / Customer Service

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, handling materials, and supporting shipping and receiving activities. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment.

Duties

• Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment for materials handling.
• Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory and order fulfillment.
• Assist in packaging products for shipping and ensure proper labeling.
• Perform picking and packing duties to prepare orders for distribution.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse management systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues.
• Support warehouse distribution operations by following established procedures.
• Load Products such as Hay for customers (If you're allergic to grass, this wouldn't be an ideal job!)

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, including knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, such as cranes and reach trucks.
• Experience in shipping & receiving processes, including order picking and fulfillment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required by the role.
• Knowledge of packaging standards and materials handling best practices.
• Experience with warehouse management systems like AS400 is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
