About the Role

Our client, a dynamic commercial real estate firm, is seeking a skilled and proactive Commercial Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of office and retail properties in Salt Lake City, Utah . This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and tenant satisfaction of assigned properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building systems, vendor management, financial reporting, and tenant relations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to manage key assets within the growing Salt Lake City commercial market and contribute to the success of a reputable organization.

Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned commercial properties, including leasing administration, maintenance, and tenant services. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with lease terms and company standards. Oversee and manage third-party vendors, including landscaping, janitorial, security, and specialized maintenance services. Respond promptly and effectively to tenant inquiries and concerns, fostering positive landlord-tenant relationships. Develop and manage annual operating budgets for assigned properties, monitor expenses, and ensure financial performance targets are met. Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and recommendations. Coordinate and oversee property maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects. Ensure all properties comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Assist in lease negotiations and renewals, working closely with the leasing team. Implement property management software for efficient operations and reporting. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial property management. Proven track record of successfully managing office and retail properties. Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and construction practices. Excellent understanding of lease agreements, property financial statements, and budgeting. Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI) and Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively manage vendors and negotiate contracts. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Familiarity with the Salt Lake City commercial real estate market is a plus. Benefits
