About the Position
The Golden State Community Foundation is looking for a Manager to support the execution and day-to-day operations of the Foundation's community impact, fundraising, and philanthropic initiatives. The Manager will provide comprehensive programmatic, fundraising, and operational support across a diverse portfolio of Foundation programs and campaigns, helping to ensure initiatives are strategically planned, effectively implemented, and evaluated to maximize impact, donor engagement, and community outcomes.
In this role, you will support fundraising operations, project management, stakeholder coordination, partnership activation, donor engagement, and program administration while working collaboratively across internal departments and external community partners. You will play a key role in advancing the Foundation's strategic priorities through strong operational execution, relationship management, and oversight of both fundraising and community impact initiatives. This position reports to the Director of Development and Operations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day execution of Foundation programs, educational initiatives, and community impact projects
Manage program timelines, deliverables, application processes, participant communications, budgets, and reporting
Support the planning and implementation of community impact initiatives aligned with the Foundation's strategic priorities
Coordinate the planning and execution of Foundation fundraising campaigns, signature events, volunteer activities, and community engagement programs
Assist with donor stewardship activities, sponsorship fulfillment, and partner engagement to strengthen philanthropic relationships
Coordinate event logistics, vendor management, participant and donor communications, and on-site event execution
Track program and fundraising metrics, prepare impact reports, and support post-event evaluations and continuous improvement efforts
Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance program effectiveness, participant experience, and fundraising outcomes
Support community outreach and marketing efforts that increase awareness of Foundation programs, events, and giving opportunities
Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure successful execution of Foundation initiatives and achievement of fundraising and community impact goals

Required Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 years in nonprofit management, program management, community engagement, project management, philanthropy, or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Google Suite
Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
Experience developing reports, presentations, and project documentation
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and functions
Highly motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Time Commitment
Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends for Warriors and Valkyries home games and Foundation-aligned events
Compensation
$38.00 - $40.00 Per Hour + Bonus
