Material Handler/Forklift Operator

HIRING FOR MID-SHIFT 12PM TO 8:30PM

Role and Responsibilities

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN HEAVY MATERIAL

• Performs daily forklift inspection before starting shift
• Fills out inspection form and notifies manager of any defects or malfunctions
• Must follow machine’s schedules and pull material accurately
• Must be able to work in a timely manner while also insuring accurate work
• Responsible of loading and off-loading trucks
• Responsible for organizing material at appropriate location
• Must fuel up tank at the beginning of their shift
• Responsible for not damaging material, forklift, machinery or physical plant property
• Must notify manager of any damage material or equipment
• Must wear PPE
• Must work as a team
• Must follow all plant safety rules and regulations

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
• Forklift certification

Preferred Skills

• Bi-Lingual

Additional Notes

Must be willing to work staggered shift hours. Shift may fluctuate between 8 hour and 12 hours every day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
