SciTec is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee execution of complex, mission-critical software systems within a defense environment. This role is responsible for ensuring that end-to-end design, development, system integration, verification, and validation efforts are executed with rigor, aligned to program objectives, and delivered on schedule and within budget.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing software-intensive defense programs, with the ability to coordinate across technical teams, customers, primes, and subcontractors; manage cost, schedule, and risk; and drive execution in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
Responsibilities
Lead planning and execution of design, development, integration and test activities across the program lifecycle
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including budget, schedule, resources, and dependencies
Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks
Drive change management activities, including analysis of impacts to scope, schedule, and cost
Drive growth through ECP proposals and negoatiations
Support technical leadership in requirements management, roadmap alignment, and execution planning
Prepare and deliver program status reports, translating technical progress into actionable insights for leadership and customers
Manage stakeholder relationships, including government customers, subcontractors, and internal leadership
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and program execution quality
Support program reviews, demonstrations, and external engagements
Oversee EVMS activities, ensuring compliance with earned value requirements and accurate performance measurement
Lead CSDR management, including planning, coordination, and delivery of required cost and software data reporting artifacts
Manage overall program financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost‑control initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned
