Packaging and Shipping Specialist

Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated Shipping Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aiding our packaging and shipping operations to ensure timely delivery of our products to customers while maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout the process. We handle a large quantity of outgoing shipments daily, so time management and teamwork are necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Be reliable - always show up for work.
• Assist in the packaging and preparation of orders for shipment.
• Use a Pick and Pack system to quickly fulfill orders.
• Ensure accurate labeling and documentation of packages.
• Quickly navigate a high volume of direct to consumer orders.
• Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Work together with the shipping team.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in shipping or warehouse operations is highly preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must be able to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to be active (i.e. standing, bending over, walking) during shifts.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with shipping software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Quick learner and teamwork oriented.
• Must be able to work in-person at our facility in Colorado Springs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
