Kāhala Nui, considered Hawaiʻi’s premier senior living community, is seeking dedicated Full-Time and Part-Time Resident Care Assistant (RCA) to join our team.
POSITIONS SUMMARY: Assist residents with their ADLs to ensure that they are receiving person-centered care and service in the Assisted Living (AL) and Memory Support (MS) areas. May be assigned to work on the Nursing Unit if certified as a CNA.
Note: This position does NOT require a Hawaii CNA license and does NOT provide relocation assistance.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
- Available shifts: DAY (6:00AM - 2:30PM); EVENING (2:00PM - 10:30PM)
- Must be available Sunday through Saturday, including weekends and holidays.
- Shift differential pay available for evening shift.

Equivalent experience or education may be substituted at the hiring manager’s discretion for educational or work experience requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in caregiving, resident care, assisted living, healthcare, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working with residents and families.
- Ability to follow care plans, policies and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely, including standing, bending and prolonged walking or standing.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Proof of annual tuberculosis clearance in accordance with state regulations.
- Proof of valid CPR AED and First Aid certification.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of a Nurse's Aide training program or CNA certified.
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or memory care residents.
