Position: Occupational Therapist / OT
Occupational Therapist (OT) – Flexible/PRN – Houston, TX Overview
Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation seeks an experienced OT for a consistent PRN role as the primary therapist (15–20 hrs; 3 days per week or more). Responsibilities include providing functional rehabilitation wherever life happens, whether at home, school, work, or in the community.
Who We Are Looking For
- Experienced OT seeking a consistent PRN role (15–20 hours, 3+ days per week)
- Capable of delivering rehabilitation in varied settings (home, school, work, community)
- Works autonomously while collaborating with a dynamic team of therapists
- Minimum 3 years of neuro rehabilitation experience preferred

Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Regularly reassess treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
- Perform discharge evaluations and provide recommendations for home and community safety, including referral and education resources
- Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, client, and family members
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration and enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current, unrestricted OT license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of one year’s OT work experience
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds; lift up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
- Requires fine‑motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk or stand for extended periods
- Physical tasks may include pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and frequent positioning
- Health screening or examination may be required before assignment and periodically thereafter, per location policy and regulations, to verify physical capability and provide reasonable accommodations if necessary
