Crafton's Summit Sourdough is looking for an experienced artisan baker to join our growing team.
We're a family-owned bakery specializing in naturally fermented sourdough bread, focaccia, bagels, and other handcrafted baked goods. From our retail bakery to wholesale accounts and farmers markets across Colorado, we're committed to producing exceptional products and delivering a great customer experience.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, enjoys working with long-fermentation doughs, and wants to help build something special. This position has opportunities for growth as our bakery continues to expand.
Responsibilities
- Mix, ferment, shape, score, and bake artisan sourdough bread
- Prepare focaccia, sandwich loaves, buns, bagels, and seasonal menu items
- Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation across all products
- Follow production schedules while helping meet retail, wholesale, and market demand
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and inventory management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen
- Work closely with the owners to improve production and efficiency
- Help train future team members as the bakery continues to grow
- Qualifications
- Professional bakery experience required
- Artisan bread or sourdough experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and motivated
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
- Available for early morning and weekend shifts as needed
