We're building one of the most professional, technology-driven, and operationally disciplined municipal services organizations in the industry, and we're looking for an exceptional Operations Dispatcher / Operations Coordinator to become the communication hub of our field operations during leaf season (October through April).

This is not a traditional dispatcher position.
This is an operations leadership role that directly influences field performance, customer satisfaction, fleet readiness, employee accountability, and the success of our municipal partnerships.
Your Mission
As the Operations Dispatcher / Operations Coordinator, you will serve as the Operational Control Center for our field operations.
You'll coordinate Drivers, Ground Crew, Maintenance, Customer Service, Field Operations Supervisors, Contractors, and Executive Leadership to ensure every day runs safely, efficiently, and professionally.
You'll be the person everyone depends on to keep operations moving.
What You'll Do
Every day is different, but your responsibilities will include:
Daily Operations
- Coordinate daily field operations from start to finish.
- Dispatch Drivers and Ground Crews.
- Monitor route progress and operational performance.
- Communicate with Drivers throughout the day using Microsoft Teams and company technology.
- Coordinate route adjustments when necessary.
- Ensure operational issues are communicated quickly and accurately.
Fleet Coordination
- Coordinate equipment breakdowns and repairs.
- Communicate with Maintenance regarding equipment status.
- Track asset availability.
- Monitor operational readiness throughout the day.
Customer Coordination
- Work closely with Customer Service regarding resident concerns.
- Coordinate responses to customer escalations.
- Ensure operational follow-up is completed.
- Help deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Operational Support
- Maintain operational documentation.
- Coordinate contractor activities.
- Track operational metrics.
- Support leadership with reporting and administrative functions.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Dispatch, logistics, transportation, operations, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to commute to our North Chesterfield office; Valid driver's license preferred.
- Experience with the following also preferred: Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office Suite, GPS or Routing Software, Fleet Management Systems, Operational Reporting
