Outside Sales Representative – Luxury Residential A&D – Los Angeles, CA

Outside Sales Representative Benefits & Compensation

  • Competitive base salary aligned to the Los Angeles market
  • 4% commission on delivered and paid orders
  • Tiered performance bonuses: $5,000 at $500K shipped, $2,500 for every additional $250K shipped

Outside Sales Representative Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of outside or road sales experience in luxury residential products
  • Proven existing book of business with interior designers, architects, or landscape designers
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region
  • Comfort with weekly KPIs and consistent prospecting activity
  • Proficient in HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Outside Sales Representative Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience in luxury furnishings, outdoor furniture, appliances, plumbing, stone/surfaces, or architectural materials
  • Strong territory management, specification sales, and project-based sales experience
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and adept at full-cycle order management

Outside Sales Representative Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Grow and manage sales within the Los Angeles residential A&D territory
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with design firms, architects, and luxury residential professionals
  • Conduct in-person presentations, lunch-and-learns, and product education sessions
  • Execute weekly outreach including phone, email, social media, and on-site visits with trade accounts
  • Present luxury outdoor furnishings with brand and product expertise
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, including quoting, coordination, and post-sale follow-ups
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, manage pipeline updates, and track client activity
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and design community gatherings
  • Collaborate with showroom leadership and internal teams to support territory growth and uphold brand standards
