Experienced Caregiver / PCA — Part-Time — Starting at $17/hr

Comforting Companions Home Care LLC is hiring experienced Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants for our August launch care team.

We are a Nevada-licensed non-medical home care agency serving Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, and surrounding areas. We are building a dependable team of experienced caregivers who are professional, reliable, compassionate, and comfortable working in private homes.

This is a part-time W-2 employee position. We are currently hiring experienced caregivers for our August launch. Pre-hire and onboarding steps may begin before client assignments are available.

Position: Experienced Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant

Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour

Employment type: Part-time

Schedule: Flexible shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, and possible overnight shifts

Service area: Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, and surrounding areas

Start timeframe: August launch

About the Role

Caregivers provide non-medical support that helps older adults remain safe, comfortable, and supported at home.

Caregiver duties may include:

Companionship and conversation

Personal care assistance

Bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting support

Mobility and transfer assistance

Meal preparation and meal routine support

Light housekeeping related to the client’s care

Laundry and linen support

Medication reminders only, as permitted

Dementia and memory care support

Respite support for family caregivers

Following the client care plan

Reporting changes, safety concerns, or care concerns to the office

This is a non-medical caregiver position. Caregivers do not provide nursing care, medical treatments, injections, wound care, or medication administration.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:

Minimum of 12 months of hands-on caregiving experience in home care, private duty care, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, group home care, or a similar care setting

Reliable transportation to travel to client homes throughout Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, and surrounding areas

Ability to pass a required background check

Strong attendance, dependability, and ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts

Ability to complete all required onboarding steps before being assigned to client care

Ability to follow written care instructions, communicate professionally, and work respectfully in private homes

Comfort with assisting clients with non-medical support such as companionship, personal care assistance, mobility support, meal preparation, light housekeeping related to care, and reporting client concerns to the office

Preferred Qualifications

The strongest candidates will have one or more of the following:

Current CPR and First Aid certification

Current CNA certification

Two or more years of caregiving experience

Experience providing care in private homes

Experience with dementia, Alzheimer’s care, or memory care

Experience assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, mobility support, and fall-risk precautions

Availability for weekends, evenings, overnight shifts, or recurring client assignments

Current two-step TB test completed within the last 12 months

Current physical exam completed within the last 6 months

A strong record of reliability, attendance, and long-term client assignments

Requirements Before Client Assignment

Selected candidates must complete all required onboarding steps before being assigned to client care. This may include document verification, required training, background check processing, TB documentation, physical exam documentation, and CPR/First Aid verification or completion if not already current.
