The role of Event Barista at Ritual Coffee is a dynamic and integral position within the company’s Catering & Events department. This role supports the delivery of exceptional coffee experiences outside traditional cafe settings, ranging from conferences and vineyards to offices and private backyards. The Event Barista collaborates closely with the Catering Manager to ensure smooth event execution while maintaining high standards of coffee quality and customer service. This position is flexible and may involve working up to 29 hours weekly, including irregular shifts that could require early mornings, late nights, or overtime. Responsibilities extend beyond simply making coffee to include managing catering operations, serving as a primary or secondary point-person at events, handling communications, organizing tools and inventory, and assisting with operational tasks both on-site and at the warehouse. Strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, and adaptability are essential. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter, eager to develop solutions and maintain Ritual’s reputation for excellence. They should be motivated by creating memorable experiences, have a deep appreciation for coffee, and demonstrate enthusiasm for customer service. This role blends the art of coffee making with operational management and client interaction, making it ideal for someone passionate about hospitality and event management within the specialty coffee industry. Ritual Coffee offers competitive compensation, starting at $18.25 per hour for cafe baristas and $26 per hour for catering leads, along with comprehensive benefits.   • Minimum 1 year experience in a cafe, foodservice, or similar role
