Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to company standards
  • Supervise housekeeping staff by providing guidance, training, and feedback to maintain high-quality service delivery
  • Monitor cleaning procedures including janitorial tasks, laundry operations, and custodial responsibilities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Identify areas for improvement in cleaning processes and implement corrective actions promptly
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, cleaning schedules, and maintenance issues to support operational excellence
  • Collaborate with management to develop and enforce cleaning protocols that meet health and safety regulations
  • Assist in managing inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment to optimize resource utilization

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality housekeeping management with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning standards
  • Supervising or leadership experience within a hotel or hospitality setting is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of laundry operations and janitorial procedures to ensure comprehensive cleanliness standards
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and management seamlessly
