Position: Phlebotomist/ Medical Assistant

About the Role

A Client Care Specialist 2 MTU (CCS2 MTU) presents a friendly, helpful face to members seeking HIV testing, prevention services, STI‑screenings, and treatment on our Mobile Unit. This role provides courteous, confidential, and professional support to members within our MTU programs, enhancing the reputation of AHF by embodying our commitment to excellence in patient care, retention, operational efficiency, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

  • Collect medical histories, manage tests/screenings, record vitals, and address health complaints.
  • Facilitate patient registration, appointment management, and electronic chart creation.
  • Maintain proficiency in data documentation, including referrals and reports.
  • Perform venipuncture and sample collection, preparing specimens for laboratory analysis.

Qualifications

  • Valid Phlebotomy license or Medical Assistant certificate.
  • Driver’s license mandatory.
  • Fluent Spanish speaker a plus.
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule of days, nights, and weekends.

Schedule

Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 10:00 am‑6:30 pm

Wednesday: 11:30 am‑8:30 pm

Saturday: 8:30 am‑4:30 pm
