Position: Wealth Investment Support Specialist II (Greensboro, NC.)

Overview

Provides in‑office client and advisor support interfacing with our affluent Investment clients and Centers of Influence. Provides essential investment support in the daily investment portfolio administration for the Wealth Management regional office. Provides administrative support to Investment Managers and coordinates with other members of the Wealth team (Advisors, Planners, etc.) to deliver a high‑quality service level to our Wealth clients.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize relationship management activities by facilitating the day‑to‑day transactional needs of the client base, including processing deposits, distributions, payments, transfers or other routine transactions.
  • Enter and maintain appropriate client records, monitor client transactions and data for accuracy and timeliness and maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Utilize various trust and investment systems to affect transactions, monitor accounts, create reports and prepare client presentations.
  • Respond to client requests for information and assistance within appropriate level of authority.
  • Support sales and retention effort by scheduling appointments, conducting follow‑up calls, and preparing & maintaining client presentation and marketing materials.
  • Assist advisors with other administrative functions, prioritizing actions that enable quality client interaction.
  • Continually provide responsive and personal service to our Wealth clients.
  • Participate in onboarding and training of new teammates in the Market‑Buddy System.
  • Assist with special projects for the Investment Managers.
  • Assist Investment Analyst with compliance exception items.
  • Assist with special projects for the Wealth Division Support Leader.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years in the role as an Investment Support Specialist/Fiduciary Support Specialist; trust, investment, banking or financial planning‑related client service experience, or equivalent outside experience.
  • Knowledge of deposits, loans, banking products, and operating systems unique to the line of business, including trusts and estates.
  • General knowledge of investment products (stocks, bonds, options, derivatives).
  • Strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exemplary customer service and professional etiquette skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) or Trust School Level 1.
