Our transportation team plays an important role in ensuring products and freight move safely, efficiently, and on schedule throughout our distribution network. As a CDL Container Driver at HFA, you will support container movement between local ports, distribution sites, and customer locations throughout O‘ahu while helping ensure freight is transported safely and efficiently. This role also supports perishable food deliveries and product handling as needed. What You’ll Do

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers hauling 40–45-foot containers
• Pick up and deliver containers between customer sites, warehouses, and ports
• Deliver perishable food products to customer accounts as needed
• Load and unload shipments for deliveries and pick-ups
• Verify product counts, invoices, credits, and discrepancies
• Operate pallet jacks, lift gates, dollies, and other delivery equipment
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
• Follow DOT, OSHA, port, and company safety regulations
• Safely maneuver containers and trailers in tight delivery and port spaces
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse teams, customers, and port representatives

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class A CDL License with at least 2 years of experience
• Valid PUC Medical Certificate
• Current TWIC Card required
• Clean and verifiable driving record
• Experience hauling 40–45-foot containers
• Knowledge of local O‘ahu port and heavy-weight routes
• Comfortable working in tight spaces and active port environments
• Ability to secure loads using straps, chains, and related equipment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Organized, safety-minded, and detail-oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
• Must currently reside on O‘ahu
