School Speech Language Pathologist Ohio

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Ohio SLP license is required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred
• Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and speech disorders in K-5th grade or preschool students

• Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to meet each child's individual education goals
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to deliver effective support
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports in compliance with school and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and reporting on student progress
• Offer support and educational resources to parents and caregivers, facilitating carryover of strategies at home
