Seeking skilled Special Education Teachers for contract positions supporting students in self-contained, center-based, and resource classrooms with diverse support needs. Positions are available both full-time and part-time, each based at a single campus, with strong classroom and paraprofessional support.
Openings cover a range of settings, including Structured Learning Services (SLS) for students with significant autism and emotional needs, Significant Support Needs (SSN), AN classrooms for students with emotional/behavioral concerns, and Learning Specialist roles supporting mild/moderate needs. Youll collaborate daily with fellow educators, therapists, and service providers to create safe, engaging, and structured environments where growth and learning thrive.
Key qualifications:
- Current Colorado DOE Certification with Special Education endorsement (required)
- Experience with students who have significant autism, including non-verbal learners and AAC devices
- Comfortable building students life skills for greater school independence
- Skilled in data-driven instruction, behavioral management, and de-escalation techniques
- Confident working with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and managing classroom teams
- Ready to work in an on-site role at one assigned school for the duration of the contract

- Direct instruction in academic, social, adaptive, and life skills
- Collaborating with families and school teams for holistic student support
