Baptist Health Urgent Care is seeking skilled Radiologic Technologists to join our dynamic team!
JOB SUMMARY:
This role involves performing x-ray tests while utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology, operating diagnostic equipment, developing films, and preparing rooms with necessary equipment and supplies. You will also assist with Medical Assistant responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities reflect the expectations of this position but are not exhaustive. Additional tasks may be assigned.
- Warmly welcome patients upon their arrival in waiting areas, exam rooms, and x-ray rooms.
- Maintain clear communication with patients about wait times and guide them through the treatment process.
- Address and resolve patient inquiries and seek assistance in emergency situations.
- Make follow-up calls to patients promptly.
- Support front desk staff with patient check-in and check-out when needed.
- Accurately record patient vital signs, weight, and medical history, including medications and allergies.
- Assist with patient transfers and procedures supervised by healthcare providers.
- Complete documentation related to patient visits as per guidelines.
- Conduct timely radiology procedures for further evaluation and treatment.
- Perform quality control procedures to ensure the highest standard of radiologic examinations.
- Prepare patients for procedures, adhering to safety and care protocols, including radiation protection measures.
- Ensure diagnostic equipment is functioning properly and report any issues to management or the attending provider.
- Commit to ongoing professional development in diagnostic imaging skills, supported by educational resources.
- Maintain up-to-date licensure and certification for the use of facility radiology equipment.
WHAT'S THE SCHEDULE?
Full-time team members work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, typically consisting of 12-hour shifts on weekdays and every other weekend. PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled based on need.
WHAT'S REQUIRED?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred

Baptist Health Urgent Care operates 23 locations across Arkansas and is an affiliate of Urgent Team, one of the largest independent operators of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast. Our centers offer a range of healthcare services, including treatment for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care.
