Job Overview

Mercier Consultancy Group is currently recruiting for a French Speaking Content Moderator Social Media position in Bulgaria, on behalf of a prestigious international client operating at the forefront of the global social media industry. In this dynamic and impactful role, you will be responsible for reviewing and moderating French-language content across major social media platforms, ensuring that online communities remain safe, respectful, and in full compliance with established community guidelines. Key Responsibilities

Review and moderate French-language user-generated content across social media platforms, including posts, images, videos, and comments, ensuring strict adherence to community standards and platform policies.

Identify, flag, and take appropriate action on content that violates guidelines, including hate speech, misinformation, graphic material, harassment, and spam within social media environments.

Accurately categorise and document moderated content using internal case management and reporting tools, maintaining detailed and precise records for quality assurance purposes.

Respond promptly and professionally to user reports and escalation requests related to potentially harmful or policy-breaching social media content.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Trust & Safety specialists and social media policy teams, to ensure consistent and fair enforcement of community guidelines.

Stay fully up to date with evolving social media platform policies, content moderation best practices, and relevant regional regulations affecting French-speaking markets.

Participate actively in regular calibration sessions, team briefings, and quality review meetings to continuously improve moderation accuracy and consistency.

Contribute feedback and insights to internal teams regarding emerging social media content trends, recurring violations, and areas where policy clarification may be required.
