Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential appropriate for California
• Experience teaching multiple grade levels (Pre-K, Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, and High School)
• Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Background in differentiated instruction and inclusive classroom practices
• Strong skills in math instruction across various ages
• Passion for working with children of all abilities and helping them achieve their fullest potential
• Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students with varied learning needs from Pre-K to 12th Grade
• Develop, review, and adapt IEPs ensuring goals are met and student progress is tracked
• Foster inclusive classroom environments, adapting teaching methods for a range of abilities
• Employ effective classroom management strategies
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents, fellow educators, and school leadership
• Maintain accurate records related to student performance, interventions, and progress
