Material Handling Lead
Job Summary of Material Handling Lead:
This role oversees taskers, manages daily warehouse operations, and coordinates with carriers, customers, and internal teams. It focuses on ensuring smooth workflows, resolving operational issues, and maintaining a safe, organized workplace.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Material Handling Lead:
- Supervise, coach, and guide a team of taskers to achieve operational objectives.
- Plan and organize daily order waves efficiently from assignment to completion.
- Monitor warehouse transactions and resolve discrepancies using system tools.
- Collaborate with operations to manage inventory variances.
- Schedule and communicate inbound and outbound shipment timings.
- Track shift performance using system reports and audits.
- Oversee parcel movement from loading docks to delivery trucks.
- Coordinate with IT and procurement to fix data errors impacting operations.
- Work with IT to address technical issues affecting workflow.
- Ensure complete and accurate shift handovers.
Qualifications and Experience of Material Handling Lead:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year warehouse experience preferred.
- 1–2 years in data entry, dispatch, or similar responsibilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, follow safety guidelines, and maintain composure in a fast-paced setting.

Salary:
$21.35 per hour plus $1.00 second shift differential.
