Housekeeping: Assisted Living

Your job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• assisting Maintenance Director with follow up on daily work orders from residents and staff for minor repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the environment, including:
• resident apartments once a week, and as needed
• common assisted living and memory care areas where residents socialize
• tasks include but are not limited to:
• sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, disinfecting, vacuuming,

shampooing, deodorizing carpet

• washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning walls
• removing dirt, dust, etc. from surfaces using proper cleaning and

disinfecting solutions

• following proper techniques when mixing and storing chemicals, disinfectants,

and solutions used for cleaning

• must be aware of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) as relates to job duties and

follows all necessary precautions

• maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents and guests, following

established safety standards.
