What Sales Managers Actually Do
This isn't a desk job pushing spreadsheets. You'll be in the field with your team, recruiting top talent, and building a winning culture. Here’s your typical week:
Morning huddles, one-on-ones, performance coaching, and culture building with your sales team.
Recruitment (25%)
Career fairs, interviews, sourcing candidates, and building your pipeline of future stars.
Field Coaching (25%)
Ride-alongs with reps, real-time coaching, demonstrating techniques, closing deals.
Pipeline reviews, territory planning, reporting, and leadership meetings.
Ideal Candidate Profile
1-2+ years of sales experience (any industry)
Proven track record of hitting/exceeding quotas
Experience mentoring or leading others (formal or informal)
Strong communication and coaching abilities
Ability to recruit and identify talent
Self-motivated with entrepreneurial mindset
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
High school diploma required, degree preferred
Willingness to work some evenings (team schedule)
No Pest Control Experience? No Problem.
