What You’ll Do

• Support individuals with daily living activities and personal care
• Assist with community outings, appointments, and transportation
• Assist with medication administration and health-related needs (training provided)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment
• Encourage independence, dignity, and personal choice
• Follow individual service plans and complete documentation

Realistic Job Preview

This position is rewarding, but it can also be demanding. Direct Support Professionals may assist individuals with personal care, provide behavioral support, and remain attentive to health and safety needs throughout the shift. Team members must be dependable, patient, and committed to providing respectful support in a home environment.

Basic Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with good driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen

Schedule

Schedules may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnights.
