Sobieski New Homes is looking to hire a full-time Residential New Construction HVAC Mechanic to win repeat business by doing quality installations of heating and cooling systems in residential new construction. Responsibilities
- Quality installations of heating and cooling systems in residential new construction.
- Help train HVAC helpers.
Requirements
- Licensed as a journeyman (preferred) OR 5+ years of new home construction experience
- Knowledge of applicable state codes
- Hands-on knowledge of residential HVAC construction and ability to read blueprints
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outside in a variety of weather conditions, from heights, and in tight spaces
- Have own hand tools regularly used by HVAC mechanics
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated and career-minded
- Works well as part of a team
- Can deal courteously and tactfully with customers and fellow workers in the construction trades
- Enjoys mentoring others
- Committed to doing quality work and motivated to continually improve skills
