Position: Maintenance Technician (EPA Certified) - 3 Month Temp Full Time New Richmond, VA

Maintenance Technician (EPA Certified) – 3‑Month Temp Full Time

Location: Richmond, VA – 2000 Riverside Apartments

Role: Maintenance Technician (EPA Certified) for a 3‑month temporary assignment (may extend or become permanent).

Pay: $24.50–$25.50 per hour (depending on experience). No benefits or quarterly bonuses.

Schedule: Full‑time Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm (40 hrs/week). Participation in a rotating on‑call schedule with bonus of $150/week (up to $200/week summer).

What You’ll Be Doing

• Complete turn/make‑ready process of vacant apartments.
• Assist the team with maintenance work orders.
• Maintain property grounds, amenities and pool areas daily.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) and hands‑on HVAC troubleshooting/repair experience.
• Strong customer‑service mindset and pride in work.
• Ability to work independently yet be a reliable team player.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and prioritizing tasks.

Physical & Technical Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Comfortable using computers & mobile devices (Outlook, work‑order systems, etc.).
• Ability to drive a golf cart.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year‑round.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Background check required.
