Alliance Parts Warehouse is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control Accountant to join our Accounting Team. This is a full-time, in-office position based at our North Little Rock, Arkansas facility.
The Inventory Control Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy, supporting financial controls, and providing meaningful data analysis to help drive business decisions. This position serves as a member of the Accounting Department and acts as a backup for various accounting functions as needed.
This position is not a warehouse role. While the position supports inventory accuracy and works closely with warehouse operations, the Inventory Control Accountant performs their duties in an office environment and is responsible for inventory analysis, data management, reporting, reconciliation, and accounting support functions.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional office setting, possess strong Microsoft Excel skills, and enjoy analyzing data, identifying discrepancies, and capable of managing large volumes of data while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to work in-office, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve inventory, accounting, and purchasing discrepancies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of Windows-based software applications.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments.
Duties may include, but are not necessarily limited to:
- Maintain the receiving log, including monthly preparation and daily updates.
- Review Packing Lists and Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs) before or upon delivery, verifying accuracy and making necessary revisions within the documentation system.
- Research and resolve receiving, delivery, and inventory discrepancies.
- Work closely with the Receiving Department to verify products delivered and documented.
- Manage the cycle count log, including monthly preparation, daily updates, and variance tracking.
- Collaborate with cycle counters to investigate inventory discrepancies and provide daily statistics.
- Manage quarterly perpetual cycle count schedules and identify inventory lines requiring additional attention.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date cycle count reports for leadership.
- Research inventory variances and provide supporting documentation as needed.
- Maintain and update receiving and cycle count procedures and documentation.
- Assist with accounting department projects and other duties as assigned.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
