• Days: 06:50 AM – 07:20 PM
• Nights: 06:50 PM – 07:20 AM
• Every 3rd Weekend Required
• Call Required – 3 Shifts Every 6 Weeks
• Float Between Labor & Delivery & Women's Health

Minimum Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program
• Minimum 2 Years of Recent OB Surgical Tech Experience
• Labor & Delivery Experience
• Cesarean Section (C-Section) Scrub Experience
• Clinic Experience Required
• Must Have Completed at Least One Previous Travel Assignment
• Hands-on experience with surgical instruments, medical equipment sterilization, and endoscopy tools.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during obstetrical surgical procedures
• Scrub and circulate during Cesarean Sections
• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields
• Prepare surgical instruments and equipment
• Perform instrument counts
• Assist with specimen collection and labeling
• Support patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Assist with IV insertion, Foley catheter care, and phlebotomy
• Document patient care accurately
• Maintain infection prevention and patient safety standards
• Float between Labor & Delivery and Women's Health as needed
• Prepare the operating room by sterilizing and organizing surgical instruments, ensuring all equipment is ready for OB procedures.
• Assist during labor and delivery surgeries, including cesarean sections and other obstetric interventions, maintaining strict aseptic technique.
