Location: Rosharon, TX

Pay Rate: $16/hr

Shift/Hours: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Some Friday and

Saturday Overtime.

Job Type: Full-time, Temp To Hire

We are looking for motivated Welder / Shop Helpers to support our fabrication

operations in Rosharon. This is a dual-purpose role designed for someone who has

welding capabilities but also possesses a "team-first" attitude. You will split your time

between performing welds and ensuring the shop remains organized, safe, and

efficient.

Whether you are an experienced hand or a talented welder looking to grow within a

reputable local company, this role offers a variety of work beyond just sitting in a booth.

Key Responsibilities

Welding & Fabrication

? Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metals (primarily carbon steel

and aluminum).

? Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols.

? Use grinders, torches, and plasma cutters to prep or finish materials.

? Ensure all welds meet structural integrity and aesthetic standards.

Shop Support & Maintenance

? Assist lead fabricators with material handling, positioning, and "fit-up."

? Operate forklifts or overhead cranes to move heavy equipment and raw

materials.

? Maintain a clean and organized shop floor, ensuring tools are returned and

hazards are removed.

? Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.

Qualifications & Skills

? Technical Proficiency: Proven experience with multiple welding processes

(certification preferred but not required—weld test will be administered).

? Equipment Knowledge: Comfortable using shop tools like band saws,

ironworkers, and hand grinders.

? Physical Strength: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and remain on your feet for 8–10 hour

shifts.

? Adaptability: Willingness to jump from a welding project to a general shop task

at a moment's notice.

? Reliability: Strong work ethic and dependable transportation to our Rosharon

facility.
