Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment and Evaluation:
  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations to assess patients’ conditions.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and patient goals.
  • Use diagnostic tools to inform treatment strategies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Therapeutic Interventions:
  • Implement effective therapeutic exercises to reduce pain and improve mobility.
  • Utilize manual therapy techniques to facilitate recovery.
  • Tailor exercise programs to meet individual patient needs.
  • Educate patients on using assistive devices and making ergonomic adjustments.
  • Patient Education and Support:
  • Provide clear education about therapy processes and self-management strategies.
  • Guide patients on lifestyle modifications for better health outcomes.
  • Motivate patients to adhere to their treatment plans.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain thorough and accurate patient records.
  • Prepare reports for healthcare providers and insurance as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational documentation standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work alongside multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in team meetings and case reviews to enhance treatment strategies.

  • Equipment and Facility Management:
  • Ensure proper maintenance and use of therapy equipment.
  • Monitor supply inventory and place orders as needed.

  • General Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Experience in a clinical setting with diverse patient populations.
  • Proficient in both diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Work Schedule: 9-hour workdays, Monday to Friday, with Saturday rotation.
